Garnett Ethanol Plant Breaks Ground on Renewable Diesel Project

Kansas Corn congratulated East Kansas Agri-Energy (EKAE) on its recent groundbreaking ceremony as it embarks upon construction adding renewable diesel production capacity to its ethanol facility in Garnett, Kansas.

“EKAE’s planned production of this drop-in diesel fuel at the bio-refinery offers another example of value-added agricultural processing of multiple fuel products which stimulates the ag and energy economies for local and regional consumers and producers.  We look forward to the successful completion of this phase of the project leading to renewable diesel production and strengthening our state’s economy,” said Greg Krissek, Kansas Corn CEO.
