Posted: 4-27-16 Apply for Kansas Corn Corps — Young Farmer Program

Introducing the Kansas Corn Corps

The Kansas Corn Commission and the Kansas Corn Growers Association have launched a new program for young corn farmers. Class 1 has been announced.  Application materials from Class 2 will be made available in early 2017. The program is open to Kansas farmers who are currently actively growing corn. Participants can apply as singles or couples for the 16-month program. The program will consist of four sessions, domestic agriculture trip and social opportunities. Sessions are focused on various business aspects of running the operation. The program is intended to create a network of farmers under the age of 45 who represent the diversity of farms and operation across Kansas.
