Kansas Corn Thanks Kansas House Delegation for USMCA Support

Kansas Corn Growers Association leaders thanked the Kansas Congressional delegation for their votes to pass USMCA, the U.S.- Mexico-Canada Agreement. Trade with our two neighboring countries is vital for markets for Kansas corn and corn products.
“We have some good news for our growers today with the passage of USMCA. Passing this trade agreement was a top priority for Kansas Corn Growers Association,” KCGA President Steve Rome said. “Not only is Mexico the #1 export buyer of U.S. corn, over 40% of all Kansas agricultural exports go to Mexico and Canada. Mexico alone has the potential to import more than one billion gallons of ethanol. Canada accounts for more than 20% of our ethanol exports and their imports could increase four-fold.”
