Programming Sponsorship Opportunities

Kansas Corn Corps Young Farmer Program

The first Kansas Corn Corps class launched in December 2016 and is a program targeted to farmers 45 and under. The focus is to engage young farmers in the corn industry and the association. The sponsors names will be used on promotions around recruitment efforts and promotion of corps activities.

  • Three top sponsorships available for $5,000; four supporter sponsorships available for $2,500
  • Top sponsors each get 30 minutes on the agenda and are invited to join the participants for the luncheon during the launch weekend
  • Supporting sponsors each get 15 minutes on the agenda during the second session
  • Corn Corps sponsors also get a Green ($1,000) annual sponsorship to reach the entire KCGA membership

Kansas Corn Regional Meetings

Regional meetings be held throughout Kansas.  The events are free to farmers and the corn industry and will include legislative and programming updates from KCGA, checkoff updates from Kansas Corn Commission (KCC) and an opportunity for a sponsor message. Two non-competing $400 sponsorships are available for each of the nine districts.

Kansas Corn Schools

The annual corn schools are hosted and organized by Kansas Corn and K-State Research and Extension. A sponsor will receive name and logo recognition, the opportunity to address attendees and have an information table at all three events ($8,000 for all three locations).

Careers in Corn Collegiate Campaign

This  program is targeted at college students pursing associates, bachelor, graduate and technical degrees. The purpose is to help highlight career opportunities in the Kansas Corn industry from banking to agriculture engineers, equipment mechanics to communicators. This campaign will connect with students at on-campus events where the sponsors will have the opportunity participate.

Collegiate Corn Academy

This new program will provide college students the opportunity to dive into market development and policy issues, provide professional development learning opportunities, chances to engage with policy makers and industry professionals and completion of capstone projects in their area of educational focus on a relevant industry issue. Sponsors will have multiple opportunities to interact with participants and the sponsor’s name will be connected to promotional efforts.

Kansas Commodity Classic

Sponsorships for this stand-alone event are available separately as it is in partnership with the Kansas wheat and sorghum associations.
