Kansas Ag Stress Resources

Providing Kansans the resources they need to help cope with ag-related stress.

Your own health is important and should not be overlooked. The Kansas Department of Agriculture, along with partners like Kansas Corn, has gathered mental health resources for everyone in agriculture no matter your age or role on the farm. The stress that comes with being part of a farm or ranch can be overwhelming but no one has to get through it alone. Visit kansasagstress.org for resources to help you or a loved one cope with ag-related stress.

If you are a farmer in crisis, or know of someone in need of immediate assistance, contact your local Kansas Community Mental Health Center or call the National Suicide Prevention Line at 988.

Ag Aware Mental Health Providers

Kansas Corn partners with the Kansas Department of Agriculture to identify “Ag Aware” providers in the state on their Kansas Ag Stress website. “Ag Aware” providers understand the culture of agriculture and can speak effectively with farmers about their unique lifestyle and occupation. Check out the growing list at the Kansas Ag Stress website  HERE.
